Argos engineering is ons zusterbedrijf en per direct op zoek naar een Naval Architect die grote lijnen bewaakt zonder details uit het oog te verliezen.

Voor lopende en nieuwe projecten zijn we op zoek naar een lead naval architect bij Argos Engineering. We werken voor jachtbouw, en aquaculture aan technisch complexe projecten die volop in de vooruitgang zitten. Als Naval Architect werk je technische specificaties uit en ontwerp je. Als projectleider zorg je dat jouw conceptuele en basisontwerp uiteindelijk afgeleverd wordt als maritiem voertuig. Je kunt diverse scheepsbouwkundige en constructieve berekeningen maken en hebt ervaring met leiding geven aan een team.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring en specialistische kennis van concept en basic design. Je bent zelfstandig en durft initiatief te nemen in je projecten. Het maakt je niet uit of je werkt aan een jacht, een Landing Utility Vessel, of een veerboot. Je kan grote, complexe maritieme projecten organiseren en overziet het geheel. We waarderen je nieuwsgierige houding en het up to date blijven van regelgeving en ontwikkeling.
Vloeiend Nederlands en Engelse taal beheersing

• Communicatief vaardig, commercieel met focus op het grote plaatje
• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring
• Ruime ervaring met Autocad, Rhino, Pias of een vergelijkbaar programma, Cadmatic Hull is een pré
• Bewezen coördinerende en leidinggevende kwaliteiten

Argos Engineering, our sister company is looking for a Projectmanager / Naval Architect.

A Naval Architect who monitors top view without losing sight of details.

For current and new projects we are looking for a lead naval architect at Argos Engineering. We work for yacht building and aquaculture on technically complex projects that are in full progress. As a Naval Architect you develop and design technical specifications. As a project manager you ensure that your conceptual and basic design is ultimately delivered as a maritime vehicle. You can make various shipbuilding and structural calculations and you have experience in leading a team.

What do we expect from you?

You have at least 5 years of work experience and specialist knowledge of concept and basic design. You are independent and dare to take initiative in your projects. You don’t care if you work on a yacht, a Landing Utility Vessel, or a ferry. You can organize large, complex maritime projects and oversee the whole. We appreciate your inquisitive attitude and staying up to date with regulations and developments.

• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Good communication skills, commercial with a focus on the big picture
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Extensive experience with Autocad, Rhino, Pias or a similar program, Cadmatic Hull is an advantage
• Proven coordinating and managerial qualities
